Stocking Swap

"All the quilters were stitching their stockings with care,

in the hope that new treasures soon would be theirs!"

You can either make or buy your stocking. They should be around 12- 15 inches in length. We have had some way bigger in the past which is fine.

We limit membership  in this swap to folks who have chatted a minimum of at least 3 months on QuiltChat this allows the chatters to feel assured that they will receive something in return and that the person they are swapping with will not just disappear!

Please send me all your snail mail information and PLEASE PLEASE, include as much as you can about your likes and dislikes, color preferences etc. People sometimes have a hard time trying to think of goodies to fill those stockings with, and others are very good at it. So for those of us with challenged imaginations, please include anything and everything you would like to receive. It will give them a nice list to go from when picking your goodies.

If you would rather not send overseas please let me know and I will try to do what I can. Just remember sometimes it can take a long time to get things to places like Australia and New Zealand, especially if you have it sent by boat. One package took almost three months to get there!

It is strongly recommended that you take at least the minimum insurance on your stocking package in order to have a tracking number, this will insure that your valuable stocking dose not become lost in the mail and that the person you are swapping with is not disappointed. We reserve the right to ask for your tracking number at any time.

I am thinking we will open around December 16th which is on a Saturday the week before Christmas. If anything changes, I will let everyone know.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, it will be fall before we know it and thoughts to the holidays will be upon us.
