Channels expire after 14 consecutive days of non-opping..
Channels expire if the founder's nick expire..

/msg ChanServ HELP <command>
  REGISTER - Register your own channel.
      INFO - Get various information on a channel.
    ACCESS - Check user's access to specified channel.
    CHANOP - Add|Del|List channel ops.
     AKICK - Add|Del|List channel akick list.
 ID/IDENTIFY - Identify as the founder of a channel.
        OP - Op yourself or specified nick on a channel.
      DEOP - Deop yourself of specified nick on a channel.
     LEVEL - Listing of User / Op levels.
    INVITE - Have ChanServ invite you to a channel.
     UNBAN - Have ChanServ unban you from your channel.
     MLOCK - Modify your channel modes and settings.
  RESTRICT - Restrict access to a channel.
 TOPICLOCK - Restrict topic changing privileges.
       SET - Change specified settings.

REGISTER <#channel name> <password>                       Example: /msg ChanServ REGISTER #help PassWordHere Registers your own channel on StarChat Your nick must be registered and identified with nickserv before you can register a channel

INFO <#channel>
Example: /msg ChanServ INFO #help
Gain various information on a channel

ACCESS <channel> [<nick>]                                  Allows a user to query their access on a registered channel.
This is the same as: /msg ChanServ ACC #name nick.
When used with the optional <nick> variable, this command  serves the ChanServ facility, thus relieving the bot of keeping
track of access lists. For a registered channel, the reply is
given in a NOTICE of the following format:
<nick> has access <level> on <#chan>

CHANOP <#channel> ADD [options]
Example: /msg Chanserv CHANOP #help ADD Nick 10
The above example adds the user Nick at an op level of 10 on #help
For help on the Op Levels: /msg ChanServ HELP LEVELS

CHANOP <channel> DEL [options]
Example: /msg ChanServ CHANOP #help DEL Nick
The above example deleted Nick from the #help oplist

CHANOP <channel> LIST
Example: /msg ChanServ #help LIST
The above example shows all the Ops of #help
List Options
-n *pattern to match nicks with*
-l level to show ops for
Example: /msg ChanServ #help LIST -n *dragonnet.org*
The above will LIST all the ops on the channel w/ that
address
Example: /msg Chanserv #help LIST -l 13
The above will LIST all the ops that match level 13

LEVELS:
-1:  AKick - User is banned from channel
 0:  Standard user
 3:  Auto-voice (+v) - User will get +v when joining channel
 5:  AutoOp
10:  SuperOp
13:  Co--Founder
15:  Founder
What Can These Levels Do? (assume accumulation)
Level 3:
- UNBAN me
- Automatic +v upon join
- OP (+v instead of +o)
- DEOP (-v instead of -o)
Level 5:
- Automatic +o upon join
Level 8:
- Access to all AKick functions
- UNBAN ALL
- UNBAN mask
- OP (+o)
- DEOP (-o)
Level 10:
- Access to add ops of levels 5 and below
Level 13:
- Access to ALL functions but:
- SET #channel PASSWD
- SET #channel FOUNDER
- DROP #channel

AKICK <channel> ADD <nick>
AKICK <channel> DEL <index number or mask>
AKICK <channel> LIST
Maintains the channel AutoKick list. If a user on the channels
AKICK list does try to join a channel, then they will be
kicked by ChanServ, as well as banned.
ADDing and DELeting AKICKs is limited to 10+.
ADD adds a user to a channels AutoKick access list. DEL
removes a user from a channels AutoKick access list. LIST lists
the AutoKick access list, with an index number.
Examples:
/msg ChanServ AKICK #starpatrol ADD lamer
/msg ChanServ AKICK #starpatrol DEL 3
/msg ChanServ AKICK #starpatrol LIST

IDENTIFY
Usage   -IDENTIFY <channel> <password>
This command will identify the user to ChanServ as the
founder, and give them full access to the channel.
Example: /msg ChanServ IDENTIFY #cservice miracleworker

OP
Usage OP <#channel> [nick]
Example: /msg Chanserv op #help Nick
ChanServ will op the specified nick

DEOP
Usage DEOP <channel> [nick]
Example: /msg ChanServ DEOP #help Nick
ChanServ will DEOP the specified nick

LEVEL
Usage <channel> LIST [Level]
Example: /msg ChanServ LIST #help 5
ChanServ will LIST all level 5 chanops

INVITE
INVITE <#channel>
Example: /msg ChanServ INVITE #Help                         Note: Have CS invite you to the specified channel        Requires level 1+

UNBAN
UNBAN <channel> <all|me|[mask]>
Example: /msg ChanServ UNBAN #help ME
Has ChanServ unban you from your channel
Example: /msg ChanServ UNBAN #help ALL
Remove all channel bans
Example: /msg ChanServ UNBAN #help *!user@lamer.ville
ChanServ clears channel bans matching mask                  Note: 
Requires level 1+ for 'me'                               Requires level 8+ for all / mask

MLOCK
MLOCK <channel> <modes>
Example: /msg ChanServ MLOCK #help +nt
Sets the channel modes for your channel
This command is saved in the ChanServ database
For more help on channel modes: /help mode

RESTRICT
RESTRICT <channel> <level>
Example: /msg ChanServ RESTRICT #help 12
The above example means only ops w/ a level of 12 and
above can join the channel, others will be kick/banned

TOPICLOCK
TOPICLOCK <#channel> <level>
Example: /msg ChanServ TOPICLOCK #help 10
The above example means only Ops with a level of 10 and above
have the privilege of changing the topic
/msg ChanServ TOPICLOCK #help 0
Removes the restriction of the op level that can change the topic

SET
SET <channel> <option> [stuff]
Change specified options setting on said channel to the
new specified setting, or show setting...
SET OPGUARD [ON|OFF]
Example: /msg ChanServ SET #help OPGUARD ON
 - When on, people op'd who are not recognized by
 ChanServ are deop'd
 - When off, ChanServ will allow other ops to op non-ops
 KEEPTOPIC [ON|OFF]
 Example: /msg ChanServ SET #help KEEPTOPIC ON
 - When on, ChanServ saves the last channel topic
 - When off, leaves topics alone
 IDENT [ON|OFF]
 Example: /msg ChanServ SET #help IDENT ON
 - When on, ChanServ requires users to identify to
 NickKServ to receive ops
 PROTOP [ON|OFF]
 Example: /msg ChanServ SET #help PROTOP ON
 - When on, ops of lower level are not allowed to deop
 ops of higher level
 QUIET [ON|OFF]
 - When on, all changes made to a channel are NOT sent
 to the current chanops
 PASSWD [new password]
 Example: /msg ChanServ SET #help PASSWD
 NewPassWord
 - Changes the channel's password
 - NEVER give your passwords to ANYONE!
 DESC [description]
 Example: /msg Chanserv SET #help DESC Friendly place
 for help!
 - Sets the channel description
 - Requires level 13+

***** NickServ Help *****
NickServ allows you to register your nickname on ChatNet. It
also protects you from nickname takeovers. If your nick is not
used within 21 days, your nick will expire and be made available to anyone else who chooses to reregister it.

REGISTER - Register thenickname you are currently using
ACTIVATE - This activates your nick after registration email
 is sent
IDENTIFY - Send your password to NickServ                               SET - Change settings on your nick (Many options are available!)
  ACCESS - Add or remove address that are allowed to your nick
   GHOST - Kill your ghosted nick (Your nick that hasn't left IRC yet)
 RECOVER - You can recover your nick if a user is presently using it
 RELEASE - Lets you get your nick back from NickServ if it
 protecting it.
    DROP - Drops your registered nick
    INFO - Get info on any registered nick
 ADDMASK - Adds your current account to your access list
  ACCESS - List the addresses that are on your access list
    LIST - lists all registered nicks matching a given pattern

Command - REGISTER
Usage   - REGISTER <e-mail address> <password>
This command registeres you as the owner of your nickname
as far as NickServ is concerned.  It will e-mail you an activation number. At which time you use /MSG NickServ Activate.
Example -                                                    /MSG NickServ register Postal_Phreakpostal@host.net moo

Command - ACTIVATE
Usage - ACTIVATE <activation #>
This command completes your NickServ registration.
The activation will be mailed to you once you use the
REGISTER command.
Example - /MSG NickServ ACTIVATE 1861125551

Command - IDENTIFY
Usage   - IDENTIFY <password>
This allows you to avoid NickServ's wrath if you own your
 nick
but your current address is not in your access list for it.
Example - /MSG NickServ identify Any0ldP455W0rd

Command -    ACCESS
Usage      - ACCESS LIST
             ACCESS ADD <user@host mask>
             ACCESS DEL <user@host mask>
Allows you to view or edit the access mask list associated with
your nick.  The user@host masks are how access is judged within
NickServ.  The nick part, as is used in ChanServ access masks,
is not used here since it basically makes no difference.
Examples - /MSG NickServ access list
           /MSG NickServ access add postal@jen.toledolink.com
           /MSG NickServ access del postal@host.net

Command - GHOST
Usage      - GHOST <nickname> <password>
This command will remove from IRC a ghosted client belonging
to the user.  The optional password can be given to kill ghosts
that you are not in the access list of.
Example - /MSG NickServ GHOST Postal_Phreak MyPassword

Command - RECOVER
Usage   - RECOVER <nickname> <password>
This command allows those who have registered nicks which have
been taken because they didn't set the kill switch to ON a
chance to revenge themselves.  It issues a manual version of the
same kill used in the automatic nick kill.  This of course means
that you will need to use the NickServ RELEASE command to
immediatly regain the nick, otherwise it will be held for the usual 2 mins.
A check in this command prevents you from killing
yourself. :)
Example - /MSG NickServ RECOVER Postal_Phreak Mypassword

Command - RELEASE
Usage   - RELEASE <nick> [password]
If you used the recover command to stop another user from using
your nick, then NickServ won't let go of the nick for 2 minutes.
This command overrides that.
If you're not in the access list for the nick you want to
release, then you will need to include the password.
Example:
/msg NickServ RELEASE dalveja yourpassword

Command - SET <command> [<value>]
Lets you change your nickname settings. There are several options here, but to use any of them, your nickname
MUST be registered.

Available SET Commands:

      PASSWD    - Lets you change your
 nickname's password

      KILL      - Forcibly prevent people from using
 your nick

      URL       - Attaches a Uniform Resource Locator to your nick

      NOMEMO    - Disables ALL memos to your
 nick


Command - DROP
Usage   - DROP <nickname> <password>
This allows you to drop any nick that you own from NickServ's
database.  The nick is then up for grabs as far as ownership.
Example - /MSG NickServ DROP Postal_Phreak

Command - INFO
Usag    - INFO <nickname>
If a nick is registered, this command shows certain info about
it such as the owner, when it was registered, when it was
last recognized by NickServ, and whether or not the owner has
enabled nick kill defence.

Command - ADDMASK
Usa     - ADDMASK
Adds your current user@host mask to your NickServ access list.
Example - /MSG NickServ ADDMASK

Command -    ACCESS
Usage   -    ACCESS LIST
             ACCESS ADD <user@host mask>
             ACCESS DEL <user@host mask>

Command - LIST
Usage   - LIST [<criteria>]
Lists all registered nicks that match the given criteria.
Example - /MSG NickServ LIST host.net
          /MSG NickServ LIST

***** MemoServ Help *****

MemoServ allows any user to send another REGISTERED
user a memo while he/she is not currently online. This get's rid of that pesky /note command on ircII.

READ - Read your memos..                                     LIST - List what memos you have. 
SEND - Send a user a Memo
DEL - Delete some of your memo's
CLEAN - Delete all of the memo's from your Mail Box
RETRIEVE - Make MemoServ E-mail you all of your Memo's
SET - Set Various Options with MemoServ 

Command - READ
Usage   - READ <memo number>
Shows you the contents of <memo number>. To find out what  <memo-number> is, use /msg MemoServ List.
Examples:
/msg MemoServ READ 1
/msg MemoServ READ 15

Command - LIST
Displays a list of memos sent to you. You cannot see memos that-
you have sent. Only 20 memos will be displayed. If you have more
than 20 memos, you will have to delete some of the earlier memos,to get at the ones near the top.
Example:
/msg MemoServ LIST

Command - SEND
Usage   - SEND <nick> <memo>
This sends a short memo to <nick>. Both your nick, and the nick
of the person you're sending the memo too must be registered,
otherwise you will be unable to send a memo.
Example:
/msg MemoServ SEND JoeUser Meet me in #Macintosh at 8pm.

Command - DEL
Usage   - DEL <memo number>
          DEL ALL
Deletes memo <memo number> (as given by the LIST command) from

your memo list. DEL ALL deletes and purges all of your memos
without restriction, so use it with care. There is no way
to get a memo back after it has been deleted and PURGED.
Note: DEL does not actually remove the memo, but simply marks it
as deleted (indicated with D in the LIST display). The memo is
not removed until you sign off or the PURGE command is used.
Examples:
/msg MemoServ DEL ALL
/msg MemoServ DEL 13
