Ohio Stars (Jeff's Second Quilt)

I made this 39"x39" wallhanging in 1995 for my husband’s new office. He’s been promoted several times since then and opted for a new, larger version. One of his cotton plaid shirts were used for the stars, along with a solid red muslin, also used for the borders. The alternating blocks, the block background and the backing are unbleached muslin. The top and backing are 100% cotton and the batting is polyester. It is completely hand quilted. The star blocks are ditch quilted, the alternating blocks are quilted in a feathered wreath motif and the borders are quilted in a cable pattern. A hanging sleeve (on back) is included.
