We will type in a quilt block name and you will have 40 seconds to type in a sentence that uses that block name in it. Your sentence can be realistic or inventive, but we love the humorous ones most and we're the judges!
The block name is: Log Cabin, Go!
| I wished that I lived in a long Log Cabin in the woods. | |
| A Log Cabin is an old fashioned house. | |
| Log Cabin syrup is my favorite kind to put on my pancakes on Sunday morning. | |
| I looked up from the porch of my Twin Sister's house, a Log Cabin, and saw Flying Geese, yes, Geese Over The Cabin, they must have escaped through the Hole In The Barn Door and ran through Grandmother's Flower Garden to be above us like Kites In The Air! |

We type in a description of a block without using any parts of the correct block in our description and you have to try and guess what the block is called. Then it's your turn to type in a Block name, the one you think we were describing.
We would type in something like:
Little red building you learn 3 R's in
and then you would type in:
Schoolhouse
Here's a second one to try.
If we typed in this:
a toy consisting of lightweight vanes that revolve at the end of a stick
What block name would you guess we were talking about? If you said:
Rolling Pinwheel
Then you'd have been right!

We make up a sentence and have chosen a block name that we target and then
show you the sentence that we've written with a blank in it. We give points to
the person that fills in the blank with the block name that We've chosen.
Couldn't be simpler, could it? Just guess the name of the quilt block that best
fits the clue given and chime right in when you've figured it out! If you are
the first to guess correctly, you will receive a gold star, a hug and a pat on
the back, all very virtual.

Here is a list of names to make up your cards ahead of time. Divide the list of names like this: and use the word Q U I L T instead of Bingo. Play as many cards as you wish. Don't forget to mark the free square under the I - the center space.
